2 times thunder fleas = 5 rainbow cooties
minus pulling a dish from the cupboard and
finding three mouse droppings in it - the dinosaurs
were the lucky ones, rodents weren't a problem
for them - here drink this tea
you look just like a phone call waiting
to be answered, well, almost, but ok I'm
still trying to figure out the horizon by
carnal trajectory schemes in the
shape of children who once
delighted in building forts as
a kind of a home sometimes big birds
rise suddenly behind you giving you
a big fat wedgee for your trouble
go trolling for trash you find the
cast of traffic everywhere
right now the thought of popcorn
has no allure for me and, like much else,
is not always true the way she put her
head on my shoulder is still with me though
but there were other things too
things uninterested in the way
I believed the future was going
most all become their own ghost
confessing all the while that they
were taught geometry by a piano player
a groove given shape by the church in
which he used to play
He was a minister too &
could marry people to top it all off

walk around town
hear a rockin' gospel
group that's awesome
under the arbor by
carroll creek
it's all within the flow
the letting go
talking it out best
gonna spend the day
with my best friend
ghjinn tomorrow
the jam is @ command
the maestro the word
groove on funky
time is prime
and rhyme is more
than reason for it
tis the season
