Jimbo I've violated so many oaths
that I gave up making 'em cuz
I just ended up bad on myself every time.
The only oath I've never broken
is the one I never made.
I never gave up on the smoke
just got poorer in proportion as the smoke
got more expensive
Hell I was married to it for years
best wife I ever had
She was always there for me
and we always enjoyed each others company
we parted on the best of terms ...
we still get together occasionally for
old times sake &
we still have a good time then
in fact, reading your post got me hungry ...
'sgood talkin' to ya ...

I hear the cities
are wilder than the woods
maybe so
maybe so
with everyone movin' into them
& bringing all their things
all the strange paintings
of the dawn
& of nightfall
& the day between/with all its songs
you can believe that Coyote is there
on the corner of 4th & Main
o yes you can believe

I like my wireman blue
listening to another Zen tape
to know I do not know is okay
to pretend to know what I do not know
is poison
I don't know poetry
I don't know music
a kind of color blindness
but with a little help
from a small circle of friends
I will make it
through the night
all right
beginners mind
