Scott... we have lots of writers here who write erotica or poems with a sexual theme. I'm one of them. There's nothing wrong with it at all. I think it's great! We're sexual beings, after all. Many of mine are also fantasies and/or fiction. Some of them are not. I never tell which is which. lol

I didn't mean to indicate that your material was porn. I don't think of it that way at all. All the poems I've read by you so far with a sexual theme have been tastefully written (pun intended ).

If you want an artlog, just let me know. Scroll down and you can find artlogs/studios by various members of the community. This is like a blog but not... meaning it's a place for you to have your own spot to archive your material and have it all in one spot.

I can set it up for you if you want one. All I'd need is the name you want to use and a subtitle (see the other artlogs on the page below).

Enjoyed your comments. Reminded me of a book, "Different Loving" by Brame, Brame and Jacobs (1996)... fully covered 'The World of Sexual Dominance and Submission.' There is definitely a different way of loving that is practiced by thousands of folks from all walks of life, the majority being highly educated people, as I'm sure you have discovered for yourself by now (and even gave some mention to).

Re: your writing... do you have any mentor in that genre you've been influenced by?

Thanks Doreen, I didn't mean to imply that you were saying it was porn, I understood you were referring to comments made by others (and it wasn't totally clear that's what they were saying either). As for the artlog, thanks for the offer, I'll look some over and see what I think. It's not like I have a ton of this stuff anyway, maybe 8-10 poems.
Thank you mtmynd ... mentors? hmmm, I've had mentors in the 'scene' itself but not in writing this poetry (though I would welcome an editor if you know one). There is some poetry of this type around but I have read very little of it, that is to say I've read what I've come across. Much of what I have seen, I don't think is very good. Then again I'm very self conscious about judging other people's work right now because I am just learning the craft myself...scott
