I remember the qat

In another life time
I read a book
Called the Human Use of Human Beings
I could not read that book again
I was so much smarter then

I used to read a lot of books
but since I stumbled on those cats on litchicks
I have read more poetry in the past eight years
than I have in the previous two thousand

Go qat Go
through me some more pearls before my swine flu
please

I do not have swine flu
just a sick sense of humor
this is a homage I wrote for you
it was spontaneous at the time I wrote it
now it is just a cool lima bean

the limit of sound, a homage to poets

cast your pearly words before me
sail your metaphors to my deaf ears
Untangle the Sargassum
in the dark sea within me

drowning in ennui
poetry a life line

the period looks well on you - adds a little dignity. some class as it were.
