this poem i'm going to write has absolutely no content
none whatsoever and we all know there can never be
a poem in any language on the face of this earth that
will ever be one of the most highly revered poems ever
if there is no goddam content and it just rings with
a shallowness and a foreboding emptiness that leaves
poetry readers (and you know all about them!) scratching
their heads wondering if content has escaped them
so they reread this killer poem one more, two more,
hell, there are a couple of readers that reread it three times
before they reach the conclusion that this poem i wrote is
about as useless and worthless as dust on a mirror reflecting
the bookcase in front of it that holds books and books that
have been searching for answers to their own questions
including the whereabouts of the world's most favorite poem.

welcome back! this thread has received over 200 views, the majority having been you, i assume..?

I've hit this thread numerous times. Probably every time somebody adds a comment. I often have the studio eight window open to check for updates.

Numerous meaning... 10 maybe 20 times..? I believe there are about 18 replies as I write.

no! i don't have time for that... i reserve such attention for the really good ones that I happen to see

when i like something, i'm a thread follower... i like to see the reactions of other people

and i might be exaggerating how many times i hit it but just saying, if i've been watching a thread 'cause i like the material, i hit it every time i hit the site and i see there's a new post to it
