O Doreen...

Where to begin? What has been up
with me, a tippy-top rupture
in something like something divine: I've been fine,
and done well and I've tried to do good
like both angels: those winged and those skulled-in-the-hood;
and I've lived and I've squandered my living away
or else treasure it up in my heart while I'd pray--
but I haven't made friends, though I've tripped over love;
but I haven't lost friends
and I've sipped (over love served like candlelight romance)
the cup of new blessings (or cups if they're plural perchance)--
and I've gained and developed, received and released
some of do-it-yourself for two-become-pieced-together
...and I've missed, both out and you (a you that is singular
perchance plural too),
and I've messed, both up and my pants...
but I haven't forgotten and I've not been unloved
and neither have been
unquestionably
how are you? (!!!)

So good to read/see/enjoy/learn from/be with you all again! WTF was up with that hiatus? Maybe I was hibernating and didn't realize it....

Actually looking for my "electric door" poem .. i think that was the title.. how I ended up here I donno... I can't find my poem. I miss my poetry. My files are all screwed up. Everything will be lost. Oh well.

what happened to Joel ?....any idea ...that can be shared ?........so many have come and gone over the years.....like slim shady.....now you see him, now you don't

Steve... I'm connected to Joel on Facebook. He's a pastor of a church in Connecticut... I think that's where he is. Yes, many have come and gone. I met Joel once. He used to live in Olney, MD and came out to Virginia to meet me and Clay. Long time ago. We recorded some poetry when he was here. It was fun!

I saw a slim lady ,my poor mind redefined your poen one time ,the second time it sorted it out, its not you, it is me ,I am blessed with word confusion,poetry is even more fun for the word shifter. the poem has the ego trip spot on, I know a writer who made it big ,had a movie made, he asked my advise when he was young ,now he has no time what so ever for me . So then I also know some way famious music dudes and they are just like sons to me ,they are also much like your cool dude, art is a gift , so who thinks "they " do it( chuckle) the universe does it when it is real....and true artists know that.This then is what seperates craft from art in my opinion. I posted a coment on your poem elsewere it did not get posted , I said yor work is alive and fine just as it is , you were disipointed wirth it. it is not the poem dear heart it is the poissen atmosphere, I have got some friesh air and I am amazed at how bitter and mean I had become being treaded so meanly , augh not who I am at all be happy ,your writing is fresh and alive and real , enjoy it and let it lilive .trying to cure somthing that is not ill will kill it dear.I almost quit qritingaltogeather.
