winter fingers
drafty windows
I slog on

hard travellin in winter
the ice in the shadows
this is the winter of my content
blue northern morning in " the republic of paradise"
in the early morning light
such a lovely blue light

sun waves adieu
through chilly trees
hard to believe day's done

that lucky old son
got nothing to do but roll

day has hardly begun
waiting for the sun to grow warm
then venture out into the day

Woke up this morn,
To my loud alarm,
Realizing that the snow,
Was still out on the lawn...
Cold has hung around for the
Past few days--
Nighttime icy roads way down below
Freeze up like a stone,
So we'll just proceed
With caution,
As we travel away from home...

I'm damn near impossible
in this winter wonder land.
Gonna freeze, darlin',
it's getting cold out tonight.

tiny ball under blanket
breathing and hoping
for june

In the meantime
In Rosario
the girls in their summer dresses

As back at the homestead, in the States,
Snow is melting except in the shadows,
Except in the hollows,
Behind tree trunks in the shade...
Warmer air blows over Tennessee snow,
Soon we start our engines and go...

unbury the narcissus
bloom, baby, bloom

in eight or nine hours
the sun will be shinning
somewhere over the rainbow
let it be here

crunch crunch!!!!!!!!!
one of those daze
2 inches of snow
and it's turning brown
real fast
the shovelers are at it
i jumped off the bus
on a hill and headed
back home
when i got the call
a day to play
Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

long live snowdays
icedays
toboggan days
sleigh days
snowangel days
lush surprise drift days

all a dream
shovelling dreams
long ago

Spring has done spranged...
Wind chimes done ranged
Rain, hail & wind did blow
Tornado passed through,
We lucked out here below...
Others nearby were not so lucky...
At least we're in Tennessee & not Kentucky...
My converse sneakers tell me
That I am a poet, & I know it...
Gitty up & go
Sun melted the snow!

Zero hero, Am I a 'bot'? I certainly am not.
But I think it droll that you resemble a troll.
Trolling for just the hell of it... We all may
resemble that description from time to time.
Sock drawer, or no... ha ha...

As for the weather, let's get back to it together.
This late spring and early summer was a record
breaker around here in Tennessee. We had rain, tornadoes
which destroyed nearby towns and neighborhoods,
a rainy July, and three record breaking temps, so far,
at 100 or above degrees farenheit.
