many are looking
but who can see
it takes a vibe to vibe relationship
to open up some fantasy

have i got a blessing for you!

may your sweetest shoulder sensations
be aroused by the virile partner
awaiting your arrival.

et vous aussi
my friend...

blessings
sent between
wahines!

...to the rhythm
of the djembe

viral or virile
the disease called man
what he can not reach flying
he must limp towards
on both sides of that door
we stand together
say "friends" and enter
just waiting for a pal
to pitch too.

why limit ourselves
to
"man"...

instead
embrace
love
in all it's forms

love,
infectious -- yes!
but
neither viral
nor
disease

instead
love
as
life
in
motion!

moving
through
my veins

moving
through
my cells

vibrating

djembe rhythms --
all

djembe rhythms
as if I knew what it means
google poser that I am

I can never keep time to music
maybe I hear a different drummer
a man because I see myself in all things
a door knob, a rock, a cat, live oak trees, and in a woman's eyes.

see you later I hope

the eyes
are the windows of the soul

and there ye be also

reflected
and
reflecting

sooner and later
and now

as for djembes
and
drummers

we each hold our own drum
and
with palm
and
fingers
we stroke
and beat out
the rhythms of our own souls

we each dance
to the rhythms
that stir our own souls

sometimes i stir yours
sometimes you stir mine
and
sometimes we stir ours

so it is
as it should be

music
and
dance
expressions of the soul
making us one
just as the dervishes
taught us!

in appreciation

if i stay busy
i don't notice
the balloon of emptiness
that has settled in my chest

but i stopped for awhile this evening...
and there it was

when will this empty feeling leave me?

why is it
that i can still
hear the rhythm
of him breathing
next to me?

why is it
that i can still
see him
when i close my eyes?

i wait
to escape
into
my dreams

and yet
i am afraid
of where i will travel to

he might be there
and the pain
and the ache
will be ignited all over again...

...and the balloon will burst!

i can't decide
if i want to breathe
with him
or
without him

can't live with him
haven't figured out
how to live without him

'ya know?

if i roll over,
the empty balloon hangs on
if i breathe too fast
the empty balloon vibrates me dizzy
if i cry out my soul
the empty balloon shakes in wonder

a co-dependent situation
the more i deny
the more i belong

signed up for life

a leap into the maelstrom
a cord back to the passive
my photos show a permanent guest

if i believed in therapy
i'd couch this situation

does he read your poetry?
does he know about the ache?
does he realize that paradise is within his reach?
does he recognize the fire that still burns?
does he see in your eyes the longing?
does he read your poetry?

would he listen?
would he hear?
would he understand?

let me try --

KISS HER AGAIN
YOU FOOL!
KISS HER LIKE YOU
KISSED HER
WHEN SHE GAVE
HER HEART
TO YOU!

SHE IS THE KEEPER
OF THE FIRE --
YOUR FIRE!

paradise is not lost

KISS HER

KISS HER AGAIN
YOU FOOL!

righteously
and
eloquently
put
stilltruckin'!

may he
who needs
to kiss her --
hear our voices
on the wind...

...and
whitebird
claps
and
smiles
as
stilltruckin'
sways
to
djembe rhythms...

...he be his own drummer!

stilltruckin'...

if you loved someone
would you tell them?

if you wanted to kiss someone
would you let them know?

if you thought of someone
ten times a day --
would you let the time pass
or
would you let them know?

would you
KISS THEM YOU FOOL?

stilltruckin'...

do you see
your own beauty...

and that there is someone
waiting to kiss you back?
