its hard to say when its all within your mind...and another's...the equation doesnt exist...its worth depends on something unquantifiable...we all are owner's of our own universe...its just how much are we willing to share...

This one got to me. Reminded me of the Book of Ecclesiastes somehow. Liked the "ants in your lap"--nice touch. Good write.

When she gave the crumbs to feed the ants.
I think it was a thirty foot drop, down, down to the little sandy houses.
Woulda, shoulda, coulda gave them the whole battered cake,
but I know women and she was too long looking him over
to leave her thoughts wonder on the small creatures more than thirty-eight seconds. This was a good reminder. Thank you.

happy is such a manipulation no white picket fences sprouting up

the ceremonies

did any of it have meaning?

no pills could fix what had been broken a very long time

my daughter is up for slaughter

what these things did to me

did you ever care? or was it all despair?
what love did you feel?

if love is forever i want you now

is it recompanse
or acknowledgement
for the deeds been done
your eyes dilate
slow breath in
the past comes back to life
does it matter
now
if it even did then
let us make belief
in something better
and let our now
celebrate our then
and observe the children
illuminate
that nothing is in vain
now and in forever

ok-so how
do we do this
without the residue
of the past
will it last
or is it all gas
if it is true
