no body knows
sweet mystery
still life goes on

forty two years
I been riding this ego trip
every round goes higher higher


I took a hit
no turning back
this is it

a small slug
finds refuge in my shower
welcome no longer

nightmare alley last night
pursued and pursuing
woke wondering if I was
the victim or the 'perp'
was I a woman or a man
or a slug
trying to write Japanese poetry
