NPR did a series (maybe still in progress) called "this I believe". It was an essay series, people submitted essays then they chose some for the authors to read on the air every week or something like that. Sort of similar to this question.... google it, to listen to a few and read a few. they even have a special website for the series.

okay, I will un-truth you... just this once though,
but I already like the truth that's in you
truth or lies, they exist as a team,
a whole picture as such... necessary
deception should have been more the term used,
as if even you yourself would hardly want to be deceived
truth is only what it is... nothing more
but deception is... everything else
