stones
along the river
talk in their sleep

the lamps are on
following the hot scent laid down by the mundane
no waste on the uptick

the year inches in
excitement (?) wanes

epiphany today
those three wise guys come and go
wonders never cease

wrecks are good
for scavenging
i pick up a wrench
