silent longing
oceanic feeling
waves lap gently on the shore
the sound of a sunset

I must have been on a western beach looking beyond the horizon to the water front in baltimore. The smell of the sea on a breeze from the gulf. I got to get out of this land locked waste land. Walk the water front, steal a sail boat. Head out to my ocean home. Life is good here, but who am I living it for? Who do I think I am Jesus Christ super star. Altruistic idiot, a prisioner of love. I think I will buy a lotto ticket tonight. As if money was the answer to all their problems. If not for the live oak trees and morning gloriy promise I don't think I could make it.

Ah, now that's sweet.....

And I always go alone but I never go alone.....not really.....never completely....

we went to a baseball game on sunday day before memorial day
they called for a moment of silence, it was great,
a whole stadium in silence, i could feel the power begin, then
after THREE SECONDzzz it was over!

a moment of silence for attention deficit disorder
a national plague, don't let the masses commune for too long
in silence

ADD silent moment = 3 seconds?

We should time the ADD moments around the world.
Wonder which area would hold on the longest.

anti-social silence
warm alone time inside
while the world keeps turning

oh so many anti-social years
now it's still silence
stillness but sociable

going to vets for peace meeting
made that phone call
silent rumblings again


nature is nurturing
deep faith in original mind
mother earth made us all

Sometimes I'll hang myself out to dry

Silently dry

While the summer breeze

Quietly

Speaks to me

i listen to drops of sweat
roll over to bask in the sun
so insistent they sizzle

When I don't feel like talking

I allow insistent fingers

To roam seductively

Over the keys

Almost playfully

I type words

No one can see

How much more

Antisocial

Can one be

let your fingers do the talking
