Doreen I don't want to ruin your evening but

Clay sounds like you, you sound like Clay, sometimes. Get over it
I mean you all are together, the reason you probably did was you saw a lot of yourself in each other. I met my other once, just like looking at myself in a woman's face. We went into the bedroom togethe And she closed the door , she sat down on the bed and smiled at me. And I stood there like ... I was still crazy from the abortion, I felt so unworthy. What a creep I was, I walked away.
I tell you that ought a take a rope and hang me, dang me.

I missed the sunrise, it was not the first or the last one.

Yabyum really did some nice work on this string, you two ought to duet together.

I will love to hear LR jam with jitterbug sometime. I remember you all asked me once about real estate in the shenandoah valley. jitterbug would be a good contact for that.
jitterbug is the guy with the accoustic guitar and white shirt. He has arms that look like pop pye, from years of turning wrenches, his knuckles are busted, he has a cut tendon, but he keeps on picking.

I sure hope I make it back east this spring,

You got me thinking about your poetry today. This is the last poem you posted a long time ago it seems to me.

This is a great poem, as if I knew what ryhmes and feats are. except for old Lowel George and little feats.

pull your bow
shoot a newton into my
gratuitous target.

fragrant dilemmas,
torn sheets tossed over
curtain rods, irises and yellow
roses in a windowsill vase,
traces of dot-to-dot skin
connections.

freckles of
fate.

alternate meanings
are the ultimate
desired side effects
of expressive
collaboration

I just love that.

the best thing about writing is the superfluous words that carry
flesh and bone and sugar like candy according to taste into a zone of flavor and senses mingling
the ways of your senses
i like it i do i d o
hope you keep doing it

Doreen hardly posts her poetry here anymore and it's a crying shame  a crying shame

 Perhaps we can shame her into it!
