It's hard for me to believe it's been a whole year already. This place still feels new to me.
Lrod is so right... it's all of you who make this site what it is.
This site is about you..... It's yours, really.
That's the whole idea of it.

glad you two like it here, for sure...!
It's you and the rest who make the site work so well...
Real world gatherings would be great!
We were going to do another Cabaradio show in September and invite you all to come participate and get together but for a myriad of reasons which include time & money, we weren't able to do it that soon.
Hopefully, we'll plan another show some time later ...
I'd love to get together and meet you all!
If anybody else wants to plan a gathering, I'd like to be there, too!
It truly is the real-world gatherings that add a great deal to a community. I know several of you have met each other and I've met quite a few internet people in person, too.... Doing a reading or something when we get together would be great!
We also thought about having a recording party. Still thinking about that one. It would be during a weekend where we could create a Studio Eight basement CD or something... you know record some spoken word pieces, do some duets or collaborative recitations, add some music and record the entire weekend of insanity. I'd like to get a digital video camera for an event like that.
Anybody else have any ideas?
Thanks for mentioning getting together in person, e-dog.... I love it when that happens!
