I miss that stadium, and even more I miss the bar in the basement of The Rosevelt Hotel where Camden Yards now stands. A magic place in the sixties, where everyone was having a good trip except me. But it was the first time I really heard live jazz, piano, stand up base and a flute. Remember the Peabody Conservatory of Music on Mt Vernon square and the psychodelic sccene around there in the sixties. Dylan blaring from every portable radio on the park benches and The Doors break on through from the open windows of the college rooming houses around the JHU campus on N Charles st?
