crude and coarse -- yes! rough drafts, fast ones, small ones... done one after another during nocturnal conversations or on dreamy-weathered rainy afternoons with a friend; done irrelevantly at the side while the night unfolded in talk and thought, in foolish frenzy, poetic ponderings, absinthine smoothness or sober musings. sketches, creative exercises, brush stroke gymnastics. guest appearing out of nowhere. party of paint and personality!

this time, playing with a technique of scraping off the paint with a spatula right after painting.
