Woke up this morning to a world of snow first time this winter around here that looks exactly like winter - still coming down too.

i'm thinkin' we are paleolithic hunters ducked inside a rockshelter. we have a bag of trail mix to munch and computers to keep in touch with other paleolithic hunter-gatherers & to amuse us as we wait for the storm to pass.

friday 13 has two silver dollars in its pocket. How it came by them is anyone's guess. i mean if you were friday 13 what would you spend them on?

Well then we'll command those that defy, in our hunter-clad and gatherer fad attire and we'll resume hunting rabbit. There's this inside me joy that you've returned to tradition on the beeswax for the beading. As you place a bead, then there's the conversation between you and any those who've also placed a bead before. Comrades.

Here, I got that from watching a documentary on Emma Goldman...
which was an exceptional watch-through, don't miss it if you haven't yet scoped it out.

Oh Red Emma I could have loved you better

I think of Red Emma and the deal she got from her adopted homeland, and I can understand Golda Meir a little better.

Emma had more pluck than luck
Deported to the USSR she got deported from the USSR too, giving Lenin too much :P

She was first wave I guess. Even if she did not need men, she still liked them. blessed be her memory for fighting the good fight.

Good put-together there. Beads are old, how old don't matter. Indigenous thought on this is, "Every bead is a prayer" though truth is I've cursed more than one of the little roundies.

yeah I'm back on tradition with the pine pitch and beeswax. Feels good. When you put a bead into that it stays there and don't pull off with your placer.
Speed increases. Creativeness goes up. free play all 'round. Bead jazz everywhere 8)

I could get into her head a bit, I mean I know all about being defiant and personal values, I'm not totally against violence, either, because it has it's place. I like that she fought for suches as free speech, laborers, unions, women.
I can't say I'd be as outspoken, but I like that she was.

If I were to fight, I'd fight for children.
Thank you kindly, Jack.

And Mingo, you could take an acorn and carve out a few natural beads from it's hard shell, then stick it in the pine pitch and beeswax.
Something about acorns and prayers.
Acorns being a great find from childhood adventuring, chestnuts, too.

I finally took the Christmas tree down today and the decorations. I was slow-poking. Worked around the house all day, which felt good.
Sleep well the two of you.

My heart is on hiatus, my mingo. :P
I packed her up and sent her off from me.
Read on a link Jack had that red stands for demons and disease in the Buddhism heart. Mayhaps it is just that for me, I don't know if I'll ever get a thing like heart right.

Yesterday the girls skirted by the house and swooped me away to theirs. We made a couple Delmonico steaks, asparagus and drank wine until late last night, then I swooped back home to my War and Peace. It was amazing.
Food and wine with the soul works wonders, really.
Good morning, you.

Today will be relaxing, too.
I have my coffee and all is still quiet here.

Be quiet here too if it wern't for the arctic touch in the air. Vera wouldn't start this morning for Nancy when she went to go to work - she had to use a cab. I'm waiting to see some activity around the Deacon's house so I can hit him up for a jump. God bless it's cold. Been on the 'net looking at Huichol beadwork to try and jumpstart myself on my project. I'm happy with parts of it & not so much with other parts so I tore the parts I was not happy with off. I wasn't going to bead the base of this thing which is a piece of driftwood and by far the largest piece of the work. But after i got the bird and skull mounted I began to circle around the base of the bird just a few times with beads to set it off...& the beads & driftwood conspired together and led me farther & farther out into the woods...now I'm out in the wilderness with a trail of beads behind me.

Little Bitch bastards! I hates mermaids to pieces! Truth is it's probably a good thing - this piece is going to be a gift for the Deacon and he is a craftsman & a half in his own work and being lost like I am my piece is going to look much more finished when it is done. He will know the work & time that it represents.

And that will make me feel decent.

So back to the beads. Glad you enjoyed yourself yesterday & I missed ya.
Catch ya later, Doll.

It was quiet for a little while, but now my mind is in uproar and I don't even know why, because if I remove myself from it, then the thing it's discussing isn't even of importance, I could careless, etc. But, here is the thing and I'll tell you about it, just resolve that I've at least made approach of topic.

I'm so pissed off that I can't watch INTJ videos, they just don't post them and if they do, then when I'm watching their video it matters more that I can tell how much removed they are in the video and that they're not able to be natural. The awareness of how unimportant it is to relate to a bunch of unknown people that they have no intention of relating to

and then my relating to their unrelating natures, because I've only the desire to relate with the one or two I care for and no want for relating to anyone else. The whole thing perhaps cancels out my wanting to see their videos, since I'm now aware I really only wanted to see his video and have it presented to just me and all that exclusivity.

My morning so far.

I'd rather be sitting back in a windowsill watching you bead. Yes, that is all.

so you just want what ya just want? Go ahead, you can try to slap me but be it known I've already ducked. You can watch me bead but it's gets interesting. Someone told me once how "theraputic" this activity was. I think of them every once in awhile and how ridiculous people can be putting words together to form a sentence or frame a notion. Actually, in my mind, I have dragged this person down to Nine Mile Point behind my Cherokee and thrown them over the cliff into the frigid waters of Lake Ontario any number of times & shouted out "theraputic!" at them on their way down. Other times I can go quiet for stretches of time zoning out listening to the beads I'm working with. Good & evil, wrap them up together and eat them like cake - or better yet, pie!

Does this mean you'd throw me over...
are you mad that I'd watch your therapeutic happenings
and so it'd be frigid waters for me, always on off season and in-between?

I do want what I want, true.
I can't not want what it is I want.

I have obsessive behaviors and I'm sort of stalking, though I put boundaries on both to ease my worry, still it is that I am being obsessive and stalkerish, right?

No, wouldn't throw ya over - just that i pitch a fit when the beads are contrary and Nancy says she don't like to be around me when i'm like that & i don't blame her a bit. i get to cursing the spirits...and it can get unpleasant. It's not like it was when i first began this kind of thing but it can come back on me with a vengeance.

As far as the "obsessive & stalkerish" (watch me slide on this) oops, my son just got here so give me a jump, seems I didn't buy a big enough battery for Vera and this cold has shown me that error so catch you later...
