from every tree branch
birds gather
over snow

on display all hours today
on the court madness

squeak of chair
as he laces running shoes
spring music

pier, boat beyond,
thrown dice rattle the tabletop
stone beach games

clock beats and bird tremolos
who needs haiku?

i need saturday night poetry
photon trails on my retina
only words, not even real words on rice paper
sometimes it is just a trick of the light
like these pixelated musings of my fingertips

jet lag plops down for a visit
cloudy reception

it's Sunday again
need to speak in a low voice
all good women sleep
