An update to all of Lrod's friends:

I just got news that Lrod is in Parkland hospital as of yesterday. He has pneumonia. Please keep him in your prayers and send your healing thoughts. If you're local and can visit him, please go visit him and come back here and give us an update as to how he's doing. I'm concerned. Thank you!

Also, he's lost a lot of weight (and there wasn't much to lose). Last I heard he was only 94 pounds.

pneumonia. not good. and hospital environment could mean exposure to other bacteria, viruses, hmmm.

Hoping that the staff devote right care, right action to Clay. May he continue to exert his strength to fight for health.

I am sorry to hear that Doreen, I will keep him in my thoughts.

Troll went to see Clay the other night. THANK YOU, TROLL!

He called me while he was there. Clay tried to "speak" using his electronic device. I had a very difficult time understanding what he was trying to say but I think it's wonderful that he's moving forward learning to use the speaking device.

Troll said he spoke with one of the nurses who told him they didn't know how long they'll need to keep Clay in the hospital but they're not putting him in ICU. That's a good thing. He's receiving antibiotics interveniously and other IV liquids.

At one point a few days ago when he first arrived at the hospital, his heart stopped beating.. code blue... but they were able to revive him successfully without using defibulators (sorry my speling is terible. haha) That was a scare. His blood pressure was very low for a few hours ... but they successfully got it back up for him.

YES, Clay... when you get home and read this please focus your energy on gaining weight! Congrats on your new Mac! That purchase tells me you're looking forward to the future where you can come to S8 and be your ornery self! We miss you! Happy Birthday November 29th... I was thinking of you that day. I think of you often! Take care of yourself! I'll come visit once you give me the green light to do so. I'll put it on my charge card, I guess. What's money anyway? I never had any and I probably never will so that's why God created credit cards.

Stay strong, Clay... life is much too short to speed thru it without taking in the important things that make us what we are.
