canadians far away
visualize fireworks

again transition
good idea to surrender
accept and move on

kisses sent as messages
distant family

together with espresso
mind fuel for haiku

mind out of focus
blessing to misplace glasses
eyes closed to listen

the blessings of longevity
I am grateful for these forlorn rags

I am watched over by machines
of loving grace
