Heh heh. Ah enjoy some of his older El Lay related prose: like dat classic, "Cunt, Kant and a .45. "
Yet to be honest for noir thrills Chandler Hammett more to mah taste. poets are such BS ahhtistes. Hammett: that's Buk, cubed

Eh a bit judgmental. Scuzi. Buk's beauty seems sort of akin to like the memoirs of Johnny Dillinger, or one of his cronies or somethin'. There's a limit to the kix provided by tales focused solely on boozin', whorin', committing crimes, etc. And really a Dillinger a bit more authentique

Bukowski's marital history as he described it on one of his book covers:
"Twice married, twice divorced and many times shacked."
is being a rascal a recognized occupation?
probably not, I don't see it on Monster dot com
you have to call yourself a poet

Could be anybody. Or most people.
Not just poets.
Almost everybody I know has been married and divorced two times. lol... and I don't know one adult who hasn't been many times shacked.

Wow. I'm surprised you'd say that, Lightning Rod! You introduced me to all the people I hang out with. If it wasn't for you, I'd have no friends at all.
That's not true, of course. Come to think of it.... I don't hang out with anyone but myself. Married twice. Divorced twice. Etc.
