Thanks D & Good Mornin' to you too! The title didn't come from me, I lifted it straight up from Jack, a line of his from one of his posts a few weeks ago. Jack, he just comes up with these gems, sometimes in a surgical airstrike & other times he's out there just carpet bombing the hell out of the landscape like there's no tomorrow and ya better find a hole to hide in & pray. I love these guys.

It started with this post by mnaz
Exit 286
judih replied
zion is a peace of mynd
hang on, mnaz, man
those sweet chariots come soon enough
roll your heart on
there's time till zion rolls round the bend
And I replied
Zion is here it is always up ahead
Over the next hill
arond the bend
at the next mile marker
the next exit
I believe in Zion
I once complimented jimboloco on his art work
and he said it was not his work, it is was his play
nice work james
I am trying to learn JASC

Thanks Jack, for locating that. I just knew I read it on one of your posts & it stuck in my mind. I didn't remember that it first evolved from JudiOz. Ain't these things strange though. Keep going on JASC, that little piece of programing is a hoot.

I don't accept any man's view
of any woman
I don't accept any woman's view
of any man
my prayers are repugnant
my repentance lewd
my lips are pursed
to kiss the diamonds
in the tree

The crows found the eggs hidden under the Constitution. they brought them to Sally Hemmings. She served them to Thomas Jefferson. He began to lust after pizza then. He could see it but couldn't reach it. He accepted it as an unfinished painting. He began to dream of thousands & thousands of Italians in New York City. He prayed for them to do what he couldn't and bring it to him hot & steaming. Then he dreamed again. A dream of miles & miles of walls. Every inch covered with graffiti. The Roman alphabet gone wild. Distorted. Bubbled. Stretched. Zigged. Zagged. Gloriously unreadable. Ecstatic.

I like the gloriously unreadable.
and how the whole world babbles.
Hey, mingo, you type good lingo and I enjoy your dance with words.
You deleted a lot. I often think of doing just that, then I come to my senses, or ignore them, and remain. Each letter/word makes its imprint then fades, I suppose, but if you think of your writings as a forest where wanderers can stroll it is good not to clear-cut!

Point well made & well taken, M. I've never thought of it that way. Thanks for wandering in my woods. You are now part of the new growth I hoped to encourage. Salute!

A quick glance at news topics this morning. The following words & phrases caught my eye :
"systemically important"
"comprehensive peace"
"nuclear breakout ability"
"racial considerations"
"subprime cuts"
"timeliness to market"
"quite as awful"
"healthcare reform primer"
I realize I have lifted them from context but still...all by themselves here on the page can anyone take a guess as to their meaning? Do they have a meaning in the first place?
This kind of language is everywhere. Prevalent. Pervasive. Stultifying.
It's a substitution, e.g. the word "relationship" is popular these days. It has become the habit to substitute this word for the phrase
"I love you". Think what this does. Think what this does. Think what this does. I don't know about anyone else but I would rather have an "I love you" than a "relationship" any where any time of the day or night.
Period.
