Oh wow! A blast from the past! Wish I could have continued those radio shows but it’s great we have 4 of them! Thank you, judih!

Yes, my recovery journey so far has been nothing short of a miracle! I’m even folding up my walker and putting in the back seat of my car and driving myself to Physical Therapy! I’m so blessed!!!

Maybe one day we can do Zoom poetry readings? Just an idea! Or a Zoom show with spoken word poetry And music? Wouldn’t that be cool ?

I feel like a new woman with a bright future! Once I can walk again, there’s no stopping me! I’m all of a sudden filling up with creative ideas! I could only have dreamed of a life without pain and now it’s starting to come true. A little at a time.

I’m so delighted and blessed to know all of you for so many years! Thank you so much for your friendship, love, and support!

This is just a guess - but it looks like you're taking the selfies in Portrait mode, but S8 wants to display them in Landscape. So if you took the photos in Landscape - would they upload correctly, then? Dunno, but it shouldn't be too hard to try....

SOOO glad to hear you so upbeat again! And it was interesting hearing your voice on those old radio shows - adds another dimension to a person I've only known remotely.

I see my own doc next week - she wants to do a routine review of my meds, but I also want to get her read on my hip situation. I can't believe how tight my pants have gotten since it started curtailing my walking!

Sasha... that’s what I miss the most... walking and exercising! Will be back to it soon. I’m glad you’re getting your meds reviewed and your hip checked out! Could be a tad of arthritis or osteoarthritis... both of which can be treated! I hope the diagnosis and treatment help as soon as possible! We are like old cars. If we don’t rev up the engines and take ourselves out for a drive, the parts can jam up. Please take care!!! And many thanks for listening to our radio show. Those were so fun to put together!

If I had someone with tech knowledge to help fix this phpbb site to keep the bots out, I’d reopen registration. But as it is, I don’t have those skills and the site gets trashed with spam.

Still... with just the few of us? We could possibly do some Zoom poetry readings or Readers Theater shows that might be fun, creative, and worth saving! I like this idea.

Thanks for the tip about landscape vs profile photo uploads... seems to me the software should have a rotate option but hey, I’m the last person who should be running such a site. I know so little! Lol

a hug for shining through Saturday into a quiet night

Today I walked (with a limp but very little pain) without a walker or a cane around my house. From the bedroom to the kitchen and back, for instance. Pretty darn cool! I’m getting better! I’ve pretty much retired the walker and usually use a cane now but wanted to see if I could walk a little bit without it. I can’t wait to go for a real walk around the neighborhood paths! Maybe in a couple of weeks? We’ll see!
