goddesses demure have left the building
we want to play in a provocative way
ours is a passion that arouses
an expansion of selves
rich
wild
swelling
ripening
flowing
more than the goddesses of love you have known before
we are powerful women
reclaiming
unruly!!

gibran has entered
and the goddesses
embrace
caress
the winds of heaven dance between us
and our union
is as a moving sea
between our shores
"no g,
there are no spaces in our togetherness,
not necessary --
neither do we fear time apart -- time alone"
"enough talk
come here and melt with us --
into the wind"

"you" will not define us
you call out
we turn
but we do not answer
we refute the names
you've shackled us with
do you see the serpents dancing?
do you see the spiders weaving?
do you see the eagles in flight?
THIS is who we are
embrace us
or
run!

you can desire us
you can never possess us
i will yield to you
but you can not own me
and i of you

we call to you Medusa
priestess of Athena
and to your Sisters.
we call to you Mothers
asking for you to grace us
with your wisdom.
we ask how it is that so many
that call themselves human
have a fascination with the abominable --
gratuitious cruelty,
execrable crimes
committed by those who feign to lead us.
we ask how it is that so few rise up against what is abominable.
our knowing tells us
that it is time for all who have the spirit of women within them
to rise,
our knowing tells us
that it is time for sovereign female wisdom
to take voice,
to take flight,
to replace what is
with what must be.
we call to you Medusa
and to your Sisters
in the year of 9
and the land will swim with snakes
and the life force will be once more --
stopping what is,
reclaiming what was.
silent no more
we rise and
circle round.

your gender bias is clearly showing,
and rightly so.

humanity bias
inching over the line
give more, love more, feel more
want more
healing process to grow
solidarity to stand
minds to be shared
decisions to be owned
we're showing our bias
we who believe that pain can be reduced
and no one would mind
we're showing our hope
we who yearn for understanding to increase
so all might benefit
humanity bias
all in favour,
say Aye!

Aye see.
Forgive my puckish ways.
Seems I just go around seething,
spoiling for a fight, any fight.
I had peace, and little understanding.
Then I stopped to increase "understanding".
Now I have more understanding and little peace.
So far, I can't have both.
Ignorance was bliss.
Don't eat of the tree.
And so it goes...

that tree started a forest of weeds
and there we were
discovering potions and berries
tasting, sniffing, wandering
till we couldn't see the forest
and there we were
still ravenous, still exploring
with each overturned stone
a ginseng root
with each swinging vine
a species that redefines species
too much to understand
so meanwhile, have some more fruit

Why not?
I could solve physical hunger, at least.
For now.
Why not?

solving physical hunger mnaz!
what a beautiful start.
why not indeed.
the means we have,
but not the will en masse.
there are the j's
who understand
and respond
to sensitive dependence.
we call to others.
the purpose of this thread.

see the work of women
and you see our hearts
so it is
with men
we must bring back
what has been suppressed,
oppressed...
in all of us!
together
we set each other free

the sirens
sang,
promised much.
many came,
now they lay on rocks
at ocean's end.
just wanted company,
that's all.
