from red to purple
daily assessment

sleep is a stranger
american or kibbutz time?
body swings both ways

between the spaces
all that cannot be said
a life of its own

may be
today may be the day
or it may not

there is nothing more
beautiful than today
maybe again soon

smooth skin
mouth ajar
eyes a paler blue

where is vision
what melody thoughts?

eyes closed
response to voices
slow path towards exit

fretful flesh
abortive romantic
hole in the dust

distorted thought
muddled on thru the mud
daylight

each step
deliberate and thoughtful
till shoelace crash

wonderful weather
brings out deer from the back field
my hostas entrees
