a city sidewalk
I have to do a double-take

is this climate change
I see before my eyes
or are there too many deer

dwell among the residences
have we all become one

fill the air

dog looks up the tree -
almost!

mixed feelings
confusion never makes sense

a lone bumblebee gleans
among the asters

almost time
serious approach to the day

hummingbird
zips into the garden
gets his fix for red

clouds of autumn dust
tinged with peanuts

ions spark
brain begins to deal
espresso ally

morning spark
brings another day in paradise/
perpetual home state of mind
