Che, Fidel, Lenino, Hugito, etc.: the par-tay members all seem sexy and tanromantico, at least until you read the fine print on the history of marxist insurrection. Like VIL personally ordering the deaths of 8000+ humans (many "socialists") following the attempt on his life (which followed the bolshi's end to voting). For that matter, Jeee-zuss might seem meaningful and important until one realizes that there's no objective historical evidence showing He existed (screepture is not objective).

why you doubt Jesus? scripture is evidence about as good ye can get from that era. what about the allegedly historical jesus is there to be skeptial about, anyway? there were cruciafictions and crazy preacher dudes. what makes that implausible?
isn't that like sayin: the Mormon religion is a hoax ... because Joe Smith never existed!
what the heck does Lenin's abuses have to with Che and Chavezzz by the way?

That's not the case. Christians don't really appear in the roman history until 70 ad or so. Other figures of NT--like Pilate--do appear in the history. Scripture should be considered, but it's not objective. He may have existed. Did He also convert a few loaves into 1000s of fillets of fish, water into wine, rise from the dead? etc. Un likely, and irrelevant (as Marx realized).
