for every invisible dog

There is something
to be said
for pure space

then again I'm
just a lungfish
walkin' 'round on my fins

looks like you got your sound file screaming streaming
we like how you speak poem
alive present real unafraid to care
not some stodgy old flat monotonic droning
fully alive near
i scream
mingo screams
judih screams
and then we breathe
and fight on
marking worries as chaff
all around is peace
contiguous
for
this moment

while shopping for peace
i dropped my guard
felt some empathy
lost my inner angst

tried to read a poem two weeks ago
Quaker meeting before adult first day school
they were reading Whittier John Greenleaf
I read "I love the 4F hippie C.O.", a tribute to Zero Hero
and when I finished, I laughed because I knew
it was not so appropos for the meditative circle, and I had goofed.
again. I sit in the back corner at meeting and close up for ten minutes, thengradually unwind and focus out. Old friends, some new ones.\\

I can read my poems in public soon
at the anniversary demo of the 7th year Iraq War
in the street a mile away from a massive air show at the Airforce Base (if I am off work)

maybe i will do a sound files experiment of my own.

my inner angst is back again
but glad i can touch you and am touched as well
....
thnx, judih

just had a dream about reading poetry aloud
strange that it's so possible in dreams
my chances for real life circles are slim

any poem read can be a poem for change
who knows what a meditative circle might do with it
go, jim, go

always seeing a wearying dream
of wandering highwayman
lost in limbo, somewhere else,
travelling, bumming, hoboeing,
looking for shelter and food,
hiding from the lawww
every night now same dream,
at an impasse
trapped by misery for so long
tho long ago
it lingers haunting memories
dreamscape of melancholy
not even a scream
just lots of bridges
to sleep under...

ssooo zen at bedtime
one minute meditation
holding still
sitting down on edge of bed
feet stable
flat on the floor
hands on knees
back upright, allright,
and then,
soft slumbering rest
hearing a poem instead
she speaks so clear
down from her breast
changing heartwaves and mindbeats
on and on
her voice oh poetic verse
she breathes words of tea and shadows
tender moments deep rest and rest....
