I haven't done it yet, cause I was experimenting with why the stars stay. Think it has to do with whether I read them as a guest, then blue stars all day, and if I read them logged in, then the stars are not out. Yeah, something likes that. lol

Try it, Dame! It works! The stars don't show up at all for guests. They only show up when you're logged in. If you hit the "all forums read" you'll remove all the stars then it will start over to show you what forums have new posts since your last visit. Also, on the main page of the forums, at the bottom right, there's a link that says "view new posts" ... that will search the forum for all new posts that happened seen since your last visit... just an idea.. i don't use that feature but judih tells me that's the link she always uses at this site and others.

hola doreen!! The old way via photobucket doesn´t work, I mean when I press preview it appears the url link but not the image as it happened some weeks ago. Great to not have to use photobucket to post images!! (I found the attache file section below the post cuadro!) but the size of the photos is too big. You told me some time ago to use photoscape to small the size of photos in order to make avatars, is it the same process?. I´ll try it again tomorrow! Gracias!!!

Arcadia.. I just tried it from photobucket to post the image above.

Go to photobucket. Find the image in your account that you want to post.
Then on the lefthand side of your photobucket page it says:

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code

Select the IMG Code ... and paste it in a posting window, then submit.. it already has the tags around it. Try again, that should work!

(If it doesn't work, please let me know)

Or you can upload... whichever is easier for you.

As far as size to upload, the maximum is currently set to 500 kb which is a half of a mb ... and is 2x the default for the site (I doubled it)... but with the avatars, I gave you pixel dimensions and this isn't a pixel measurement.. it's a file size measurement.

to Dame & Stilltrucking - (since you 2 have been so diligently helping by reporting error messages) ....

I reported the last two error messages Dame got to the host. This is what they asked for.. .they said

Please have members make a note of the exact URL appearing in the web address bar of the browser when the error message shows up.

So, if it happens again and you get an error message, could you not only report the error message you see (as you have been), but also the exact URL appearing in the address bar of your browser when the error shows up?
