"All da leettle teddy bears, da leettle teddy bears are hafing ga piekneek....."
Indeed, my inner Teddy Bear.
In automatic defense I want to scoff at the notion.
But the truth is I'm afraid for that old lovey dovey gullible bear.
Yeah.
So uh, what was your favorite plush toy.........?
H
PS Mousey you are the most! I really dug your post. Tanks!

There is no guile or warp in him. May he keep so...
Sylvia Plath poem for her son.
No plush toys but I became a pillow hugger in 1954 after my first kiss.
Such sweetness with our lips barely touching. I kissed her on a dare from one of her girlfriends. I went home and fell asleep hugging my pillow pretending it was her.
The fifties were so PG-13.
You know I remember that song as "Today is the day the teddy bears have their Tea" But I must be wrong. This would be the version popular in the mid forties.
I don't think of you as being very gulible hester.
Just put this down to another mindless ramble of mine that makes no sense. It sure has nothing to do with secrete women's ocieties like the Red Hats

If you go down to the woods today
you're sure of a big surprise
If you go down to the woods today
you better go in disguise
Today's the day the Teddy Bear's have their pic nic.
Tea indeed! Everbuddy knows Tbears don't drink tea...
they drink whiskey
or honey mead
the little booze hounds
out of teacups true
but filled with booze
no doubt
how else do you think they keep their happy demeanors with all those children about?!?!
My favorite plush toy Hester? Have you been into the tea again?

Pooh bear...P bear...Winnie the Pooh...and Tigger too!
