At first sight it just sounded like a noisy bluff (& a bit uncanny situation for the older ones who remember very well the streets suddenly covered by olive greens, arms, vehicules, sirens, etc...).
Well, but now the olive-green is not the must and supuestamente they are the good guys with the plus of six or so helicopters, and people in the barrios are wanting them to stay... At the same time is so easy to imagine the narcos hiding in other places than the bunkers destroyed ...
And why exactly now, we may ask? ... (I guess this one is a too much problematic or stupid question, specially if you are in charge of the government ... ).
Can the goverment cut now the narcos redes they allowed to grow or are they just encouraging them to move to some place else? :?

"Don't believe anything till you here the first denial" Bismark?

I thought this bit was kind of funny for some reason

To avoid suspicion, a fake conference on climate change to security forces, which included posters and mounted promoters.

yeah, maybe they thought it was a good mascarada for landing in a supuestamente socialist provincia ... also the fact that the chief in command reached the place singing a Joan Manuel Serrat´s song ... :?:   (& we knew all that thanks to the media almost at real time... ) a new standard for latinoamerican action movies...? damn... :?

Meanwhile in Gothic City ...

the FPV is fastly taking redit for the "the little help" the national goverment is given now to the santafesinos citizens...

http://www.lacapital.com.ar/la-ciudad/L ... -0043.html

it seems "the city pacificada" will be organized this way:

you are the worst , I am the best (and viceversa):

Our governon gently throwing back the flowers the FPV & the media sent:

http://www.lacapital.com.ar/la-ciudad/R ... -0017.html

the luminescent beast, our new night companion:

http://www.lacapital.com.ar/la-ciudad/V ... -0003.html

& If the FPV and the FAP destroy themselves and the options are the same as the ones in the last provincial elections, then we´ll have another problem ...

Let´s hope we learn what we have to learn both about autonomy and interdependence in our country (among other things...).

It was the hand of Bacchus that this reporter met the city that is no longer, the place where you did not need the obscene presence of men armed to the teeth to feel good. Is that why when the call ended Operation Rosario, the chronicler experienced the absence of their old as time did not feel. Perhaps because of that city also needed that is not already and which also tell you that we all have to applaud.

one less gendarme & tiroteos ... :( (nothing unusual here but I guess a problematic beginning for the idea of "occupying the territory" peacefully with federal forces ... :? )

It seems the dead man was a retired gendarme of 64 years old controlling a supermarket in the southwest zone of the city during a robbery ..., that makes his death less polemic/problematic and more forgettable? ... (when you start thinking in deaths in a strategic-statistic sort of way, something is going really bad ... & I did also that, somehow, damn... :? ). I guess it will be no help if we insist to think our city this way ... maybe we need to contact some parallel world...

it seems since today we have a "Secretary of Pensamiento Nacional" depending on the also recently created Ministry of Culture ... it also seems someone thought it was necessary: (too much internationalist thinking or just plain no thinking in and around us?, some graceful-gramscian-peronista-like vuelta de tuerca needed?), who knows... :?:

It´s the time of the year when I have to corregir 160 evaluaciones in a few days & I have to deal at the same time with my brave inner monkey who insists asking: "what the hell are you doing, let´s do something else"...  Lately I discovered that to listen to conferencias while doing the job makes me stay sitting a bit longer, so this time I´ll try to listen to our new secretary Ricardo Forster with "Política y barbarie" (I only listened to him talking in tv programmes in a zapping kind of way). Comments, other speeches or zzzzzzzzzz later

all the eyes seems to be put in USA Juez Thomas Poole Griesa (first time I noticed Poole can be a name):
