some resonate with peace
some cover their ears

3 minute quiet
some watch the bowl
some watch me breathe

out of words
fingers type the sound
one hand clapping

cheap shot
koan predator
fingers of teflon

thoughts subside
as one bird calls morning
thoughts return

standing naked
in my socks
finding poems in america

northern night falling
cool serene and blue
the hounds tranquilo

up and down
so goes the night
till espresso moment

each dream chapter
reminder of death and birth
reprieve in the dawn

note: i wrote reprieze and that word had a very intentional meaning. What it is, is lost to me now, so i'm choosing to respell it into a normal word: reprieve. too bad yesterday's moment, when i chose the word, didn't enter serious memory cells
