Ha ha, yes. When I first laughed so hard at this perfect pitch sense of humor,
it was when the house of cards was made, when he used a permanent marker across the roof, then across my cheek. Hmm maybe it was when the house was on fire.
Actually it was on first introductions. That brat, straight away, it was the sneaky suspicions, the mysteries to solve, the suspects and my heart full of laughter. I mean I was betting like this, "He's gotta be from Brooklyn."
Such a turkey, I swear I could swear.
What a fine mess...then I couldn't, I still can't stop smiling, cheeky.
Just picked me up when my thumb was strutted out.
Only takes a professional card player, play for keeps, play till they all drink, if ya gotta.
I shouldn't still be up, but my dog just got sprayed by a skunk a little while ago.
I washed his face, head and neck in tomato juice and I'm letting it stay on him for a little while,
while I go google what to do with him and this is something awful.
Sleep well, u. Yeah u.

You had tomato juice on hand? Wow.

Yes, first I put tomato juice on him for 20 mins, didn't work. Then I made a solution of peroxide, dawn soap and baking soda for a scrub, still he stunk and then I bathed him in tea tree oil, but no lucks.
Today I bought the actual skunk shampoo and I think it worked on all the spots I actually got him soaked in, but cause the skunk sprayed him in the face, I can't really get to it without getting it near his eyes, nose and mouth. Urgh.
I scrubbed everything in 20 mule borax, this is terrible.
Any experience in dogs getting sprayed by these pests?
I sprayed his bed in skunk spray and kennel.
I need some lucky stars before I shave him.

Actually we're the pests, the skunks were here first

You are pretty much stuck with it. No magic solution but time though you can help that along with daily baths. takes a couple weeks to lessen most times. Yes, you can shave him but don't expect miracles. Skunk musk gets into the skin. You can probably take some solace that your dog's not likely to do this ever again unless he or she is brain damaged.

I know what you're suggesting, but I'm not a pest

My dog might be a pest for pesting the pest, but not me, not likely, for I would of steered clear of his stripe~ing.

My favorite (one of) books as a kid was Who's a Pest? Homer is a Pest with Polly, Molly, Lolly and Dolly, plus poor Homer with that sock hat. I think I loved him even more than Charlie Brown, if that's possible.

I've pulled all my dresses
out from hanging in the dark.
.............
I gots a 747
barreling through my mind,

I liked sifting through his pockets,
it was like being in San Fransisco
in 1979 or sitting in Time Square
of New York City with jazz on the rise
and I wanted to say, "Sing it again to me Sam,
just like you did the last time."

some houses are so old
no one lives in them anymore
some days I spend
giving things to the wind
even shoving them into it
some times i get snuck up on
it happens when you're most alone
so you know you've been cut out of the herd
for special treatment
we know each other
as out there in the someplaces

I hope you'll like my houses
and I like yours, I like the kayak too.
May the wind blow.
Always liked that proverb about if a butterfly flutters it's wings,
then the wind of it will travel across the world.

Traveling.
What I likes best is that quality time,
I don't knows what it means for me.

way I see it every moment is quality time even if i'm worrying 'bout bygones or yet to be's and if i miss it,well, it's gone. was messin' around with words out of the newspaper on lunch tonight at work. words lead to other words and times it's just the damndest thing. Wind in the trees tonight which are full of themselves at the moment all leafed out full & rich and fresh green. dreams seem to be romping with folks here lately. i've seen more than one head rise out of the crowd with that look in the eye tells me they just seen a ghost. or that they are the ghost...

When I take the test, it says that's the most important thing to me
and I guess I agree, but there are some I'd never want to waste a moment of time on and there are the catfish, the magician and the hunter with his trusty side-kick hound dog, whom I'd spend lifetimes.
It's all very interesting to me.
Had a night mare last night or two. One being the end of the world. I was outside curled in a blanket, had it over my head and I could peek out at the world going crazy. I didn't want to be noticed, didn't want their running up to me and trying to pull the blanket off. I saw some of my hair flowing in the wind or I guess it was because the wind picked it up and was carrying it through the airs.
Woke up (but not really) to the clocks at 0, the puters all reset to a generic message for a state of emergency. It had a whole stream of first aid, fire disaster plans, safety housing, and disease containment sites. They were the only thing available to click on. I saw a message about how to clean the kitchen dishes, etc. properly to remove the chemicals from the chemical war,
it played it like a commercial, the dishes all lined up and a pretty little housewife scrubbing everything down.
Also had one about a theater, a seedy little joint where the audience was separated into small private groups and exposed to an unknown show. The show we received turned my stomach into knots, I went into a panic and didn't understand how it was allowed to be in business, for I thought it must be against the law to show such awful things.
It was the uglies of the world, what we've allowed happen.
Truly horrible.

I ain't goin' in there! I'm stayin' out here where the sunlight is ricocheting all over the place. Whew! I think I'm past it but it was a close call 'cause I was sorely tempted. Lookout! Stand up! Sit down! here comes a sunbeam!
