Hands to numb
to feel the grip
of oblivion
You gotta believe
Slipping into darkness
An oblivion of sorts
Absolutely nada
The whole enchilada
Me and my cat named dog
Rolling on a river
I call it limbo
How low can you go?

this ain't a poem
it's a jam
everybody doin' the things they can
I think the news
is ill-treated but then again
I build on a cliff
milking myth for a glimpse
watching the passing mist
ya gotta be swift takes some skill
leaving script on stone & tree
ships brought the ancestors here
bet that was queer
and maybe a thrill
ya just gotta go sing it
in the valleys
and up on the hill
just want to touch it
is that in the budget ?

Jammin!!!
Resounding
Confounding
Maybe I'm goin
too far 8) with that
Let's just call it a
Boom-Shaka-Lak
on the way to oblivion
Like a sweet melody or
or a song sung in the rain
Pitter-Patter, let it pour.....

I ain't got hamster problems
I got rat problems
beginning of january
I heard one scratching in the walls
of the bedroom
found a hole a week later
that it had chewed through the wall
I jammed a block of poison in that hole
next day the poison was gone
heard more scratchin' that night
but didn't sound vigorous like before
the day after didn't hear no scratchin'
and none since either
don't like putting poison into things
but I don't want to wake up some night
with a rat sitting on my forehead
pissing and shitting up there
while it chews on my nose
fuck that noise and every rat
that ever lived

A fat rat on your head,
pissin', shittin', gruntin'
(too big to be squeakin')
nibblin' on your nostrils,
is never how you'd want to
wake from sweet dreams...

Me? Got a few more inches of
snow to deal with . . . or not.
Maybe I just blow off work,
for awhile at least.

Got my jackpot candlestick
my pinhole fishhook
my superhighway wallpaper
somebody wants to sell me
on a simple way
to tighten my skin
but things are already tight enough
and my handgun is loaded with daylight
watchdog brings me the target
stuff like this is always fun
my buckle overshoes are throwbacks
just alookin' for some of that
warmblooded womanhood

Shake it on down
Shoot it back up
Let this baby ride
On into oblivion
Catch thee whilst
I'm falling
What the world needs
now is love sweet love
and more sticky
