This is the photo I cropped for the avatar I'm using.

That's Lenny, from Arcanum Cafe. The photo was taken last summer when he came to visit us for the first time. We were sitting on my porch swing on the back deck.

I donno why I felt like sharing this today. It was just a nice day last summer and it's Thanksgiving today and I am thankful for my friends who I know from the internet. I started thinking of all the many people I met first on the net but now know in person and all of those I haven't yet met in person, but hope to!

why is the lawnmower chained down?

Because we had never met Lenny before in person. We only knew him from the internet. And rumor had it that EVERYBODY from the internet may be a mass murderer.

We didn't want to take any chances.

When you come to visit, we're going to lock up the chainsaw and the butcher knives, just in case.

ah, interesting tidbit. (So, did he try to yank the lawn mower in uncontrollable mania? )

When i come for a visit, place the rotweillers around the espresso machine - you have been warned.
