Breaking through
new ice
that's cropped up.

Frozen words,
I'm impatient to thaw.

Neutral temperatures,
nowhere to be found.

I'm in quicksand,
at a crossroads.

Tropical delusions,
arrow to the right.

Blood lines,
lead me to where I left.

Straight ahead,
takes care
of itself.

Behind me,
gets me here.
