Reuters/New York - A portrait of President George W. Bush using monkeys to form his image has led to the closure of a New York art exhibition over the weekend and anguished protests over freedom of expression.
"'Bush Monkeys', a small acrylic on canvas by Chris Savido, created the stir at the Chelsea Market public space, leading the market's managers to close down the 60-piece show that was scheduled to stay up for the next month."
let me set the right mood
just to be a devils advocate
Weimar Republic, Germany the nineteen twenties
when idiots like me thought what a pity, there was a chance for a socialist peaceful pacifist Germany. Now I think about a book Life Against Death and my neigh eve a tay. World War One was not over it was just an intermission to grow another generation of cannon fodder. Bob this is spontaneosu don't mean nothing, just the reason why I was certified back in sixty four.
ten four on the genetic stupidity
I been thinking about getting my circucision reversed.
But seriously not to sound like a conspriacy nut but some of these preachers got me worried.
Barry Goldwater with the ants in his pants was a crazy old fool like me but I dug him for one thing he said:
"If one more preacher tries to tell me how to vote I am going to kick his ass"
I just remembered that this was cecil's post, Maybe I should say "Hi Jack"
I was just trying to see it from sister judih's eyes. Not to ramble but I had an interesting link to something called 'The Phenomenology Of Female Spatiality" can't find it anymore defunct web site.
So anyway I forgot it was Cecil's post,
I wonder if they will hassle that artist, find out he has torn the tags off his mattress or maybe copied a movie, something tha would be interesting to the FBI?
Thanks for posting that mtmynd
I agree wiht judih that it is
"To see that something like this can happen, especially in a place like New York City is mind boggling and scary."
Bob I don't always see eye to eye with judih, she is a Zionist something I can never be, goes back to that genetic stupity thing. But "everybody has to be someplace"
