Not today, but a long time ago.
Who is Victoria?
And what is her secret?

Victoria, whoever you are

I may be wrong (as I am known to be on a much too regular basis), but the name Victoria's Secret came from the Victorian age of contradictory prudishness and heavily corsetted bodices which only enhanced that which could not be coveted. The company therefore played on the whole idea of the secret sexiness of the hidden woman ie: Victoria's Secret.

Please correct me if I am wrong, folks.
