zoom to each flat, mighty mountain
bent bumps on a techno-jigsaw
once more powerful

need the feed
the grid is total
you'll see yourself out there
scrolling on some virtual trail
staring up at the big eye

nowhere to hide... indeed. i remember my jaw dropping a bit when i first scrolled and zoomed around the google maps satellite mat a couple years ago. "wow... i had just been out there, and i thought no one was watching!"

and you're right steve... the whole idea/process of "assimilation into the machine" is unnerving...
