sad how
that house on the corner
lets the weeds grow
dogs shiver
the lights shout obscenities
2 o'clock in the morning

surely without warning
there will be a gunshot

this is America
The Irish Sea Is Always In Turmoil, Even When Calm.

Sad, but lovely written. Mind you South Africa has its fair share of shootings. Why?
