In 72-73, before the Joy Urchins, Lightning Rod and I had a band called Visionary Indian Angels. This pic was taken at one of our shows at the Stoneleigh P - legendary watering hole in Dallas. That's James Faretheewell in the middle with the feather in his hair. The drummer is not in this shot. Could have been Zeke or a young blond buck named Jaime. Mostly we indulged in psychedelic jazz rock improvs that backed-up Clay's trippy poetry and willowy flute. James Faretheewill is now in Portland Oregon where he still dresses up in costumes and entertains the masses with great flair. A tremendous talent. He called himself Higera back then
