lest we all become literature (the sequel)

pondering the sensual sensitivties
intrigued by caramels and chocolate
as an evening during the dreams of alliterative allegory
happy smiles in the hyper-superlative

the desire of my reasoning want and waves of you

within the fasting faintly fall

shaping mantras into quiet places
singing the light of my soul to make
where your hands kraul joyful duvets
to read

the afternoon becomes a marvellous
beginning in the moving satire of metaphors

filled with rhyme beside the tumbler
in the cabinet a file of words

lest we all become literature
