The Poet

The poet is a seer,
a being who wears his heart
on the outside of his shirt.
He exposes the dirt of life,
the strife of everyday being.
He sees through the mysteries,
writes words to expose the absurdities,
examines his vision with precision,
relays his conclusions, reveals the
delusions others may imagine.
The poet is a word designer
who fashions lessons from his
confessions, explaining how
life works from the inside out.
Never doubt the eyes of a poet.
What he sees will help you believe
endless possibilities.
