Thank you I just am delighted not only w/ my grandson- but my son and his wife are so amazing- it’s an impressive situation- the wholepicture is inspiring- makes me feel like my hippie ethics were well worth the struggle- things like teaching your sons that the kitchen is community- anyway hurricanes and italians- the best in life- shoes like butter-
That was then- this is now-
Now it’s about love- all those days in Kaua’i as a Mom with surfer and mountain goat children-
I will forever be grateful to Hawaii - nothing like the real kapunas teaching your babies ukele-the italians I knew- my mother in law with her four sisters - take your laundry from you.. in the afternoon all the aunties see and iron and talk-
It has gone like that for one million years-
In the era of stay at home motherhood
I wanted to spend that time with my children- my career has suffered as a result- but I do ok-
I am blessed by their father and my sons and Gordon-
They helped make this groovy
That was then- this is now-
Now it’s about love- all those days in Kaua’i as a Mom with surfer and mountain goat children-
