my disposition improves

the eyes of a falcon playing
in the sky
oh yeah, that raptor imagination
allows me to see the infinite
like my homo sapien limitations
could never do
so I float above my old-man dreams
to ensure I'm not too far off course
my mind can part the clouds
my wings can lift me above all the shit-laced
humdrum executions
above the paralytic ennui
above the stagnant footsteps to the mountain
tops with boots that need breaking in
and I hit the ground, hiking
exploring my destiny from the cliffs
with the vision of an osprey diving headlong....
a missile..... into the immortal waves of time
the endgame new tricks for a crusty old dog
I read somewhere a long time ago, an artist
must re-invent himself every day, so my head
below the water washes away the cobwebs
my senses renewed in the plunge

Love hot tuna! I have always wanted to go to Amsterdam
And walk around windmills and tulips
And to be in Paris in spring
To see the lavenders
But color
Is so happening
I am in cobalt blue
And shiny gold
Headed for burnt sienna
I’m in a swamp like area but the colors are brilliant
Do not know how I ended up in the swamp at dawn
In that painting
Someone gave me the load of canvas
I’m happy
I still wake up and look at the moon
It’s a way of life I guess
I don’t want to wear clothes
Bras and shit
So I seem to be making clothes out of painters cloth
Since it’s so hot you have to dress like a monk
And walk around windmills and tulips
And to be in Paris in spring
To see the lavenders

I read once long ago that an eagle can see a dime at 200 ft.
and that image never left me, and so as I was contemplating
this the other day I saw the infinite imagination through the eyes of a raptor
the ability that a bird's eye view sees all the possibilities
far beyond the limitations of humans....boy does my mind wander at times
