Whisperers

My pet peeve, she stated,
is overhearing whispering,
but only hearing the s’s.

But perhaps this is
what the whisperers
whispered,
I asserted:

“She's a sweetheart,
surely you should see that!
She shimmers sunshine,
showing sheer spontaneous superiority,
so smart, so sophisticated, so spry,
so special, so sassy, so scintillating!
Shhhhh... squelch the idea of a
shy sanctimonious stunner!
She is awesome!”
