There's a hilltop artists' colony not far from here called the Andres Institute for Art, about 150 acres crisscrossed by hiking trails passing by all manner of abstract, megalithic sculptures. On my last visit there some years ago, there was one called "Before the Kiss" that your painting reminded me of....

yeah Roy, I love the way a form of art be it poetry, a painting or a sculpture can rings bells in our memories
