So true. I just had a long, drawn-out fight (fight? uh, let's not call it that, more like um, intense discussion) with my sister on this very concept.

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. I told her that I won't interact with her daughter (my niece) if she insists on some sort of fight each time. And then of course I was accused of "hating" her.

my brother and I no longer speak with my sister....honestly she committed unforgivable actions again and again over the years....but we forgave her...and forgave her...and forgave her, for the last time.....it's a long story which I won't get into, but my brother and I are completely at peace with that decision....
