I walk along a wall
a parapet
with no regrets

gargoyle my surroundings
rest and spread my wings

the block seems longer

echoing in the alley
i count the empty bottles

i count while i walk
count my steps and the emptiness
and the bottles filled with gusts
and my wings are too big for the wind
that is blowing along the wall

Brazen crow,
speaks to me.
I laugh, delighted.

i fill
the bottles with laughter
and toss 'em
into the wind

they break upon the ground
releasing the unguarded laughter into the wind
people look around, confused

walking on a parapet
on a such a windy day
working without a net
a dam good joke on me

what's on the
other side just

turning things over
to reach the other side
i find laughter

The unexpected twist is the
very reason for laughter.
What's funny is both
on this side and the other.
Perspective is key.
Look at it upside down.

a cheshire cat grin
sits in a tree
don't ya know
it's laughing at me.......

Turn the cheshire upside down.
His face turns into a frown.
Sit him up on his tail?
He turns pale,
disappears.
Nothing is
ever clear if
we try too hard
to discern its meaning.
I could tell you this post
represents one half of the sillouhette
of a tree but you might tell me I am a crazy girl.

typing roots into the soil, smiling like a feline.
